1. Subscription & Billing Model

CaptchaLa, a brand operated by SaaSoftware LLC, 131 Continental Dr, Suite 305, Newark, DE 19713, USA, offers paid plans on a recurring subscription basis. Fees are billed in advance for each billing cycle (monthly or annual) through our payment processor, Stripe, Inc. Usage-based overage charges, where applicable, are billed in arrears. By subscribing, you authorise recurring charges until you cancel.

2. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not retroactively cancel the current billing cycle. Your plan remains active and you retain access to paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for, after which the account reverts to the free tier (or is closed if you request closure).

3. Refund Eligibility

Because access continues until the end of the paid period after cancellation, refunds are generally not provided for partial or unused portions of a billing cycle. We may, however, issue a refund in the following circumstances:

  • Where a refund is required under applicable consumer-protection law.
  • Documented, sustained service failures attributable to CaptchaLa that materially prevented use of the service, evaluated against the Service Level Agreement.
  • Duplicate, erroneous, or unauthorised charges.
  • First-time paid subscriptions within the 7-day window described in our Terms of Service, where the service did not meet your needs.

Renewal charges and usage-based overage fees are non-refundable except where required by law or approved by us on a case-by-case basis at our discretion.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund or to ask about a charge, email [email protected] from the address associated with your account, including your account email, the invoice or charge date, and a description of the issue. We aim to acknowledge refund requests within a few business days and to resolve them promptly. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method via Stripe; the time for funds to appear depends on your bank or card issuer.

5. Free Tier

The free tier is provided at no charge and therefore involves no payment and no refund. You can evaluate CaptchaLa on the free tier before subscribing to a paid plan.

6. Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first so we can resolve it quickly. Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without contacting us may result in suspension or termination of the affected account pending resolution. We reserve the right to contest disputes that we believe are unwarranted.

7. EU / UK Consumer Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days. Where you expressly request that we begin supplying the digital service during the withdrawal period and acknowledge that you will lose the withdrawal right once the service is fully performed, that right may no longer apply. Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable statutory rights you have as a consumer.
