Terms of Service
Effective Date: 2026-04-22
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of CaptchaLa. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using CaptchaLa, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Service Description
CaptchaLa provides a CAPTCHA API and a content moderation API for websites and applications. We target 99.9% monthly uptime on paid plans, measured per our infrastructure monitoring.
3. Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You are responsible for the security of your credentials and API keys, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any suspected unauthorized access.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to bypass, reverse-engineer, or defeat CaptchaLa's security mechanisms.
- Use the service to attack, overload, or disrupt any system, including ours.
- Send spam, automated junk traffic, or excessive requests outside your plan limits.
- Use the service for any illegal, infringing, or harmful purpose.
5. Subscription and Payment
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. Fees are charged in advance for the selected billing cycle. You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
6. Refunds
We offer a 7-day refund window for first-time paid subscriptions if the service does not meet your needs. Renewals and usage-based overage charges are non-refundable except where required by law, or evaluated case-by-case at our discretion.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CaptchaLa is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for material breach of these Terms, including violations of the Acceptable Use section, unpaid invoices, or suspected fraud. You may terminate your account at any time from the dashboard.
9. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email or in-product notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which CaptchaLa is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will first be addressed in good faith through direct communication.
