Our Mission
CaptchaLa exists because verification shouldn't be torture. For too long, CAPTCHAs have punished real users to stop a handful of bots. We believe a verification step can be fast, respectful, and still rigorous — a bridge of trust instead of a wall of friction.
What We Build
Two APIs that protect modern products from automated abuse and harmful content, without getting in the way of your real users.
Smart CAPTCHA
An adaptive CAPTCHA that scores risk silently for most visitors and only challenges suspicious traffic — measured in milliseconds, not seconds.
Content Moderation
A multilingual moderation API for text and images that flags spam, abuse, and unsafe content in real time, with tunable policies per product.
Why It Matters
Fraud, spam, and abuse are getting cheaper to run and harder to detect. At the same time, users have less patience than ever for clunky verification. We build for both sides: a smooth first click for humans, a hard wall for automation.
The Team
CaptchaLa is built by a small, globally distributed team of engineers and designers focused on developer experience. We've shipped large-scale anti-abuse and billing infrastructure at previous companies, and we're applying that experience to a product we wish we had five years ago.
