Our Mission
CaptchaLa exists to make verification simple for users and easy for teams to run. Traditional CAPTCHAs often slow down real users in order to stop a small number of bots. We believe verification can be fast and low-friction while still being rigorous.
What We Build
Two APIs that protect modern products from automated abuse and harmful content, without getting in the way of your real users.
Smart CAPTCHA
An adaptive CAPTCHA that scores risk silently for most visitors and only challenges suspicious traffic, with response times measured in milliseconds.
Content Moderation
A multilingual moderation API for text and images that flags spam, abuse, and unsafe content in real time, with tunable policies per product.
Why It Matters
Fraud, spam, and abuse are getting cheaper to run and harder to detect. At the same time, users have less patience for slow verification. We build for both: a smooth experience for people and effective blocking for automated traffic.
The Team
CaptchaLa is built by a small, globally distributed team of engineers and designers focused on developer experience. We've built large-scale anti-abuse and billing infrastructure at previous companies, and we're applying that experience here.
